1. (Internet slang, vulgar, derogatory) A person who makes worthless posts on a messageboard, newsgroup, or other online discussion platform.

Note the confusion between the two groups of casual /pol/ users (“shitposters”) and the more hardcore neo-Nazis who, clearly seem to be more in the know about the various right-wing groups. The casual users are themselves convinced that the shooter is affiliated with Atomwaffen, which should speak for itself. The heart of the beast, speaking from the belly, you might say.
