paraphrenia (countable and uncountable, plural paraphrenias)

  1. (psychiatry) Any of a group of psychotic illnesses involving delusions, distinct from paranoia and schizophrenia.
  2. (psychiatry) The state of being paraphrenic, the most severe form of the mistrustful-paranoid-paraphrenic personality spectrum, related to paranoid personality disorder.
