mukuru
Tumbuka
Etymology
Inherited from Proto-Bantu *mʊ̀kʊ́dʊ́ (“elder brother or sister”). Although the BLR 3 does not state that this word is found in zone N, it is likely that Tumbuka's word derives from this regardless.
