Initialism. First attested 27 August 1993, but popularised on the subreddit r/tipofmytongue, which uses “[TOMT]” as a prefix on user's posts made to it.

I swear I remember an amazing website that was meant to be a "2024 website simulator". As soon as you open it, it has a popup asking you about cookies, then to log in, then to donate. And at the end it sadly announces this is the modern internet. Anyone seen this?
