Fulbeck

English

Etymology

From Middle English Fulebek, from Old English fūl (dirty), definite form fūla + Old Norse bekkr (stream). An isolated form Fulebroc attested in 1194 suggests that bekkr may have replaced an original Old English brōc (brook) in the second element.
