Notes

  • Usage is variable; for example, ƿiꟓ and ƿiþþ are both found for wiþ (“with”).
  • A capital form is unattested, as the letter does not occur in word-initial position. Nevertheless, ꟒ was encoded as part of Unicode 17.0 in September of 2025.[1]
