      ወአእሚሮ ፡ ይቤ ፡ ክዳኑ ፡ ለወልድየ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ወአርዌ ፡ እኩይ ፡ በልዖ ፡ አርዌ ፡ መሠጦ ፡ ለዮሴፍ ።
      wäʾäʾmiro yəbe kədanu läwäldəyä wəʾtu wäʾärwe ʾəkuy bälʿo ʾärwe mäśäṭo läyosef .
      And he recognizing it, said: It is my son's coat, an evil wild beast hath eaten him, a beast hath devoured Joseph.
