Nintendo[a] is a Japanese multinational video game company headquartered in Kyoto. It is responsible for the creation and development of The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario franchises.

History

In 1889, Fusajiro Yamauchi created a company called Nintendo to make Hanafuda cards. Later in 1977, Hiroshi Yamautchi turned Nintendo into a video game company.

  1. Despite not being released yet for the Switch 2, it can still be played on it via backwards compatibility.
  2. It can only be played on New 3DS/2DS models for technical reasons.
