Into the Game! is the first installment of the Minecraft: Woodsword Chronicles series, authored by Nick Eliopulos. The book serves as an origin story for the cast, introducing many common conventions of the series, such as the use of VR goggles. At an unknown date, an audobook version of the novel was released for the Storypod audio system.[1][2]

- Initially, the book was intended to go under the name Mob Squad!. This lasted long enough into development that a cover exists with the name. The reason for the change is unknown, however another book would be released with the name in 2021.
