Z'oto

Z'oto was a female Orion who served as the first officer of an Orion interceptor during the late 24th century.

In 2381, Z'oto objected to Captain Cosmia's intention to plunder a small vessel of unknown design, as it would put them behind schedule on their dilithium delivery, but was overruled. As they prepared to attack, their ship's systems suddenly began to shut down. (LD: "Something Borrowed, Something Green")

Z'oto and Cosmia found themselves betrayed by their junior officers and marooned on Sherbal V. The two began fighting for resources with the former commanders of several other starships who had also been stranded on the planet. After Lieutenant jg Beckett Mariner rallied all the officers to work together towards rescue, Z'oto assisted Ma'ah in retaking the IKS Che'Ta' from his mutinous crew. (LD: "The Inner Fight")
