Sector 2158

Sector 2158, also known as the Yadalla sector, was a region of Federation space in the Beta Quadrant. It bordered the Beta, Antares, Terran, and Omicron sectors.

Many planets in this sector contain archaeological sites of the Debrune or the ancient Romulans, including Barradas III, Calder II, Dessica II, Draken IV, Yadalla Prime, Yridia I, and Zoraster II, as well as several planets in the Taugan system. All those sites except for Draken IV and Yadalla Prime were raided by a mercenary ship commanded by Arctus Baran in 2370. (TNG: "Gambit, Part I")

In the 2380s, a section of the holographic map of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, displayed to the former prisoners of Tars Lamora aboard the USS Protostar, was labeled as the Yadalla sector. (PRO: "Starstruck")

The Protostar's route to the Terran sector from the Romulan Neutral Zone was to pass near the Yadella sector. (PRO: "Ghost in the Machine")

Locations

This sector's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the positions of many of the star systems associated with these planets as seen in the star chart appearing in the Star Trek: Picard episode "Maps and Legends".
