Wrigley's pleasure planet

M-113 creature as Nancy to Darnell

The woman Darnell met on Wrigley's planet

Wrigley's pleasure planet was an inhabited planet, which was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

In the mid-23rd century, Crewman Darnell met a girl on this pleasure planet. While on M-113, Darnell made comparisons between her and "Nancy Crater", before being rebuked by Doctor McCoy. (Neither realized that "Nancy" was in fact the M-113 creature in disguise; they were each perceiving separate illusions of a woman's appearance.) (TOS: "The Man Trap")

Background information

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.

Wrigley's pleasure planet was considered as a location for shore leave in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Two Days and Two Nights", though it was decided that it sounded too Human and too well-known for what was supposed to be a relatively distant region, so it was replaced in the story with Risa. (Star Trek: Communicator issue 143, p. 31)

Apocrypha

Wrigley's was the main setting for the DS9 eBook Lust's Latinum Lost (and Found). Locations include the city of Debauche (β) and the resort Desire Island (β).
