Woolly mammoth

The woolly mammoth was an extinct species of large, hairy animals related to elephants.

In 3189, when the USS Discovery was threatened with destruction by parasitic ice, Philippa Georgiou said, "All the more reason to get off this rock before we're entombed like the woolly mammoth". (DIS: "Far From Home")
