Wong (Admiral)

Admiral Wong was a Starfleet flag officer who served during the late 24th century.

In 2380, she was in communication with Captain Carol Freeman of the USS Cerritos when she informed Freeman that a peace summit in which the captain was originally going to take part had been moved from Cardassia Prime to Vulcan, and that the Cerritos had been relegated to delivering "diplomatic trinkets" to the inhabitants of Gelrak V. This visibly incensed Freeman, who lamented having "spent weeks learning how to bark out Cardassian small talk." (LD: "Temporal Edict")

In 2381, Wong headed the admiral's council debrief regarding Captain Freeman's performance on the Cerritos following a scathing exposé by a FNN reporter. Admiral Wong called the Cerritos a disappointment and that Freeman's Project Swing By was a waste of resources. She also accused Freeman of nearly getting the Cerritos crew killed during the Breen attack on Brekka, stating that the Cerritos crew could've been better prepared if the culture on the ship was more professional. Wong then announced that the admiralty was going to go ahead with Admiral Les Buenamigo's plan to decommission the California-class and replace it with the fully automated Texas-class. When Freeman objected, Wong stated that their were enough crewed ships in Starfleet and the Texas-class was superior to the California-class. However, Wong agreed with Captain Freeman's challenge of a mission race between the Cerritos and the Texas-class USS Aledo. (LD: "The Stars At Night")

Wong was voiced by Michelle Wong.
Her name was not spoken on-screen, but was revealed in the closed captioning during "The Stars At Night".
