Winter Ridings

The Winter Ridings were fictional administrative divisions located on the planet Ardani, created by Thaddeus Troi-Riker.

They were located in the territory of the Darshandok.

Even after the death of her son, Deanna Troi kept the drawings of the maps of Ardani, one of which had labeled the location of the Winter Ridings. (PIC: "Nepenthe")

In background notes Michael Chabon provided the props department and later published online, Troi-Riker based elements of the northern continent on stories William Riker shared of growing up in Alaska, and later the terrain of Nepenthe. [1]
