Wing (building)

A wing was an extension of the main building, which was usually identified by its location.

The Romulan Senate building had at least one wing, underneath and to the east of which was an underground exit. (TNG: "Unification II")

The outpost on Ohniaka III had north and south wings. (TNG: "Descent")

The Platonians allowed guests to stay in the south wing of their complex. (TOS: "Plato's Stepchildren")

The Sikla Medical Facility on Malcor III had at least two wings, one of which was labeled "B Wing." These wings could be cordoned off for security purposes. (TNG: "First Contact")

Sometime between 2361 and 2371 when Kira Nerys was in the Shakaar resistance cell, they attacked the home of Gul Pirak, vaporizing the entire east wing and killing twelve Cardassians. (DS9: "The Darkness and the Light")

In 2368, Ensign Ro Laren suggested to Captain Jean-Luc Picard that he should tell Admiral Kennelly to request a room in the east wing of the Starfleet stockade on Jaros II. The reason for the request would be that the west wing got "awfully hot" in the afternoon. (TNG: "Ensign Ro")

In 2375, while convalescing from his injuries in a holographic program, Nog suggested they rearrange the crap tables to the south wing in Vic's lounge. (DS9: "It's Only a Paper Moon")
