William L. Crawford worked on the story and teleplay for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine first season episode "If Wishes Were Horses" with Nell McCue Crawford. Crawford is interviewed in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, pp. 53-54.

He also co-wrote the story for the 1992 science fiction thriller Psychic, starring Zach Galligan and Michael Nouri, and for the 1995 video game Team Xtreme: Operation Weather Disaster which featured Christopher Shea.

Together with Nell McCue Crawford and Mark McQuade Crawford, he wrote the original story The Black Box which was picked up by Walt Disney Pictures in 1995. [1]
