Weldon Owen Publishing, having also operated under the name Weldon Owen International, is an American publisher founded in 1984 and specializing in producing innovative, richly illustrated lifestyle books in the categories of food and drink, sports and fitness, popular science, craft and design, and popular culture for the global market, the latter including reference books on Star Trek and Star Wars.

In 2006, it was acquired by Swedish publishing company Bonnier Publishing. [1] In 2016, Bonnier formed the Bonnier Publishing USA group, including Weldon Owen in its composition. [2] In 2018, Bonnier sold Weldon Owen to Insight Editions, which continued to use the Weldon Own brand for some publishing projects. [3]
