A water park was a type of amusement park that had a number of water rides, such as water slides and lazy rivers.

There was a water park as well as a dry park on the cruise ship Cosmic Duchess, which had a lazy river as one of its' rides.

In 2382, an away team from the USS Cerritos that was searching for Admiral Milius, when they were ambushed by some of his acolytes, who used darts to pop their ring-shaped flotation devices while they were on the lazy river. (LD: "The Best Exotic Nanite Hotel")
