A wallet was an item used to hold one's money.

In 2024, when Raffaela Musiker was walking through Sanctuary District C; she was nearly mugged by a man who demanded her money. She took him out and stripped his firearm, and then stole the cash from his wallet. (PIC: "Assimilation")

In 2371, while at Chez Sandríne, Gaunt Gary warned Harry Kim about Tom Paris' prowess at pool, saying that Paris could (metaphorically) swallow Kim's wallet without losing his smile (win all the money he had on him). (VOY: "The Cloud")
