Virgo

Resembling a maiden, Virgo was a constellation visible from Earth. Astronomical objects in this constellation were located in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. (Star Trek: Enterprise opening credits)

Virgo is one of the twelve signs of the zodiac, and as such was seen superimposed over a map of the Earth in the opening credits. The binary star Spica was located in this constellation.
