The Ventar system was a star system.

In 2374, Bareil Antos of the mirror universe claimed that after outwitting a Klingon warrior who had been guarding his cell, he had made it halfway to the Ventar system before they realized he had escaped. (DS9: "Resurrection")

This system was only mentioned in dialogue.
