Vedala asteroid

The Vedala asteroid was an asteroid claimed by the space faring species known as the Vedala. The asteroid was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. It appeared to be a verdant planet, with flowers, trees, and many mushroom-like fungi.

In 2269, the Vedala called upon a group of specialists to this world, to help them find the stolen Soul of Alar, which was located in the Skorr temple on the mad planet.

A Vedala female beamed them away from the Vedala asteroid to the mad planet, where they began their quest to locate the Soul of Alar, so as to prevent a Skorr jihad.

The team of specialists consisted of Captain James T. Kirk, Commander Spock, Em/3/Green, Sord, Lara, and Tchar. (TAS: "The Jihad")

In the script, this celestial body was described from orbit as "a huge green-and-silver globe which seems to pulsate."
The meeting place was described as "apparently a grassy glade, with trees, [and] a stream. But the harsh vacuum of space can be seen just outside, through transparent walls."
