A vacuum cleaner or vacuum collector was a device that used vacuum suction to remove items from a surface.

In 1958, Stron repaired Mrs. Garrett's vacuum cleaner despite quitting his job, as he had made a promise to her. He referred to the unit as a "suction device". (ENT: "Carbon Creek")

A large vacuum collector device, deployed as a backpack unit, was used aboard the USS Cabot to collect tribbles after a lab breach in the 2250s. (ST: "The Trouble with Edward")
