Victims of the Burn

At least three ships of the class were lost to the Burn in c. 3069. When dilithium spontaneously became inert, these vessels lost antimatter containment and exploded. (DIS: "People of Earth")

Sustaining Federation Headquarters (3189)

When the USS Discovery first found Federation Headquarters in 3189, three Saturn-class starships supported the cloaking field. (DIS: "Die Trying")

Later, when Booker's ship arrived without him, at least one ship of this class was tethered within the cloaking field. This ship was visible from Fleet Admiral Charles Vance's office, while he met with Captain Saru and Lieutenant Audrey Willa. (DIS: "Scavengers")

A Saturn-class ship remained tethered to Federation Headquarters when Discovery spore jumped to Kwejian. (DIS: "The Sanctuary")

Battle at Federation Headquarters

Three ships of this class were sustaining the Federation Headquarters cloaking field when Osyraa was able to enter it aboard Discovery, positioned near eachother when Paul Stamets was ejected into space in a personal escape pod. (DIS: "There Is A Tide...") These three later participated in the Battle at Federation Headquarters with Osyraa (commanding Discovery.) At least one was positioned at a safe distance when Discovery denoated their warp core to destroy the Viridian, and one was positioned to welcome Discovery back to Federation Headquarters at the culmination of the battle.
