Unnamed Mars class starships

List of unnamed Federation starships of the Mars-class.

Sustaining Federation Headquarters (3189)

When the USS Discovery first found Federation Headquarters in 3189, at least one Mars-class starship supported the cloaking field, which Nhan theorized may be a scout ship. (DIS: "Die Trying")

This ship, or another of this class, was also present while Discovery was undergoing refit, and had its warp nacelles replaced with disconnected warp nacelle technology. This ship would also have been present for Fleet Admiral Charles Vance's briefing of Starfleet Captains until Booker's ship arrived on auto-navigation. This ship was also visible on a diagram Vance and Lieutenant Audrey Willa were examining when Captain Saru met with them. (DIS: "Scavengers")

Concept art suggests this may have been the USS Le Guin, which was mentioned as being present for the briefing. [1]

Battle at Federation Headquarters

This ship, or another of the same class, was within the Federation Headquarters cloaking field when Osyraa was able to enter it aboard Discovery, and participated in the Battle at Federation Headquarters with Osyraa (commanding Discovery.) (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 2")

Although not seen in "There Is A Tide...", this ship was likely already within the field during those events.

Docked at Federation Headquarters (3190)

A Mars-class starship was docked at Archer Spacedock along with the USS Voyager and a Merian-class starship during the reopening ceremony of Starfleet Academy in 3190. (DIS: "Kobayashi Maru")

A ship of this class was nearby Federation Headquarters when Doctor Kovich issued instructions to Sylvia Tilly. (DIS: "All Is Possible")

Docked at Federation Headquarters (3191)

In 3191, Mars-class ships were frequently docked at Federation Headquarters.

One ship of this class was nearby Federation HQ when Discovery jumped home, having completed its mission to find the Progenitors' technology. (DIS: "Life, Itself")

Active into the 33rd century

In the 33rd century, several starships of this class participated in a ceremonial honor-formation at Federation Headquarters for the launch of Zora on Discovery's Red Directive mission. (DIS: "Life, Itself")
