The raiders under fire

At least two raiders, as well as one captained by Michael Eddington, participated in one of the Maquis' last major offensives in the DMZ against the Cardassians, prior to the arrival of the Dominion in the Alpha Quadrant, while under the pursuit of the Federation.

The USS Malinche was ambushed from out of the plasma field by these three raiders after it had responded to what was thought to be a distress call sent from a Cardassian freighter. Around the same time, the Malinche had intercepted a coded message from one of Eddington's raiders, which was passed along for decipher at Deep Space 9.

Later, two Maquis raiders were found by the USS Defiant, hiding behind the fourth moon of Quatal Prime. They split up while under pursuit from the Defiant, which then promptly destroyed the raider. (DS9: "For the Uniform")

Only two of the three raiders referenced were shown on screen.

This raider was docked at Starbase 25 in 2381. (LD: "An Embarrassment Of Dooplers")

Later the same year, it was again present at Starbase 25 when Badgey connected his program to the Federation computer networks, and temporarily seized control of every starship, space station, and planetary system in the quadrant. (LD: "A Few Badgeys More")
