When the USS Discovery first found Federation Headquarters in 3189, the USS Song along with one other Courage-class starship supported the cloaking field. (DIS: "Die Trying")

Both later participated in the Battle at Federation Headquarters with Osyraa (commanding Discovery.) At least one of the two was positioned at a safe distance when Discovery detonated their warp core to destroy the Viridian, and was positioned to welcome Discovery back to Federation Headquarters at the culmination of the battle.
