Unlimited expansion

Unlimited expansion was a precept dominating the thinking of the Romulan Star Empire during the mid-22nd century. It held that conquest was the best course of action for the Romulan people.

Challenging the doctrine was politically dangerous, a fact which Admiral Valdore discovered when he was expelled from the senate for questioning the concept. (ENT: "The Aenar")
