Umoth VIII

Umoth VIII was the eighth planet in its star system, in the Alpha Quadrant. This planet, located in the Demilitarized Zone, was established as a Federation colony that was later transferred to the Cardassian Union.

In 2370, 35 colonists were hospitalized after eating food from public replicators on this planet. Cardassian sabotage was believed responsible. (DS9: "The Maquis, Part II")

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 47, "United Federation of Planets I") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the primary of the Umoth system was a G-class star. By 2378, Umoth VIII had become a Federation member.
According to StarTrek.com, Umoth VIII was a presumably M-class planet. [1](X)
