USS Hiraga Gennai

The USS Hiraga Gennai was a 31st century Federation starship operated by Starfleet, under the command of Captain Robert Weems.

The captain of the Hiraga Gennai contacted the KSF Khi'eth after picking up their distress signal. Weems informed the crew of the Khi'eth they were coming to rescue them and that it would take two weeks to reach their position at maximum warp. When the starship attempted to penetrate the nebula, she was destroyed. (DIS: "Terra Firma, Part 1")

This starship might possibly be named after the Japanese polymath Hiraga Gennai.
