USS Bakersfield

The USS Bakersfield was a Federation starship that was in operation during the late-24th century.

In 2381, the USS Cerritos received a distress call from the Bakersfield, which had became trapped in a temporal causality loop. When the Cerritos responded, they inadvertently left their away team stranded in their environmental suits on the hull of an artificial satellite they were repairing for six hours. (LD: "I, Excretus")

This starship was only mentioned in dialogue.
While this ship's name suggests it could be a California-class ship, in reference to Bakersfield, California, it was not explicitly named as part of the fleet of ships of that class in the episode "The Stars At Night".
