Typhoid

Typhoid was a bacterial infection caused by contaminated food and drink.

In the Federation, young child were given vaccines as a preventative measure against this disease.

On stardate 52461, in the year 2375, Gabriel Hwang was vaccinated against typhoid. This information was included in his biographical file. (PIC: "Stardust City Rag")
