Troy Wilcox is a boom operator within the sound department who worked as 2nd Unit Boom Operator on the Star Trek: The Next Generation fifth season episodes "Hero Worship" and "Violations".

Wilcox also worked as boom operator on Tennessee Waltz (1989, with Denise Crosby), Black Rainbow (1989), the action film Distant Justice (1992), the thriller Kounterfeit (1996), Midnight Blue (1997), and the horror comedy Big Monster on Campus (2000).

Other credits in the sound department include Night of the Warrior (1991), Cool as Ice (1991), Subliminal Seduction (1996), the short film The Art of the Fart (2005), Hostage (2005, with Phillip W. Palmer and Stephen Hunter Flick), and episodes of Porno Valley (2004) and Modern Marvels (2007).
