Trace log

The trace log was a record of the transporter ID trace.

In 2367, when Beverly Crusher was trying to locate Doctor Dalen Quaice, Captain Jean-Luc Picard agreed with Data's suggestion that they check the transporter ID trace to see if Quaice beamed off the USS Enterprise-D, saying they should check the trace log, then notify Starfleet Command if the results were negative.
