Tower of Babel

The Tower of Babel was a location mentioned in the Bible associated with the confusion of many languages being spoken simultaneously.

In 2257, after the universal translator began malfunctioning on the USS Discovery bridge, Captain Christopher Pike likened the chaos created to this ancient mythical tower. (DIS: "An Obol for Charon")
