Torture chamber

A torture chamber was a room equipped for carrying out torture.

When Captain Jonathan Archer took Orgoth to an airlock in 2153, in order to force him to reveal information about the Xindi, Orgoth sarcastically asked "Are you taking me to your torture chamber?" (ENT: "Anomaly (ENT)")

In 2268, upon realizing what the Vians had done to their captives, Captain James T. Kirk said to Lal, "Your time is running out. This sun is about to nova. When it does, it'll destroy you, this planet, and this insane torture chamber." Kirk later described the Vian laboratory as "an arena of death, devised for your pleasure". (TOS: "The Empath")
