Tom Conley (born 8 October 1942; age 82) is an former crab dolly grip who contributed on several episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. He received no screen credit for this work but is listed on several call sheets. Tom Conley (Starfleet), a name on a directory placard seen in the episode "Violations", was named after him.
Other projects he worked as Key Grip or Best Boy Grip on include Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974), Elvis (1979), Skatetown, U.S.A. (1979, with still photographer Mel Traxel), Meatballs Part II (1984), Addams Family Values (1993, with Waverly Smothers and Randy Nolen), Testosterone (2003), Wild Things 2 (2004), Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough (2005), the short comedy Young Artie Feldman (2004), the drama Fighting Words (2007), and A Perfect Ending (2011, with Cathy DeBuono, Gary Weeks, and Terrence Beasor).
