Thousand Days of Pain

The Thousand Days of Pain was an event in the story of Ganmadan.

It was ushered in by the arrival of the ch'khalagu. During this event, the ch'kalagu would lay waste to worlds. They would feast on the living, turning the streets slick with the entrails of the half-devoured corpses, feed their children with the blood of the dead, and clean their teeth with the bones of the dead.
