Thomas Richman Blackshear II (born 14 November 1955; age 69) in Waco, Texas, is an African-American artist, whose art has spanned evangelical paintings, U.S. postage stamps, and the first series of limited edition Star Trek collectors plates produced by The Hamilton Collection.[1]

He provided concept art which inspired the Efrosian design for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. (citation needed • edit)
