Theta VII

Theta VII was the inhabited seventh planet in its system. This planet was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant and was the home to the Theta VII colony.

In 2268, the USS Enterprise was to deliver vaccines to this planet, after rendezvousing with the USS Yorktown, from which they were to procure the vaccines. They were delayed by an investigation into the dikironium cloud creature. (TOS: "Obsession")

In the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), Theta VII was a Federation member in 2378.

Apocrypha

In the Star Trek Maps (p. 30), the Theta system consisted of a blue giant star orbited by eleven planets. Theta VII was the sole M-class planet.

In the FASA source book The Federation, Theta VII was located in the Theta Gamma (β) system.
