The Slider

The Slider was Benjamin Sisko's baseball nickname for his son Jake Sisko.

He introduced Jake as "our pitcher and our secret weapon, Jake "The Slider" Sisko" to the would-be players trying out for the Niners in 2375. (DS9: "Take Me Out to the Holosuite")
