"The Kobayashi Maroon" was an interpretive dance piece created by Anya, an ensign aboard the USS Cerritos. She debuted the dance at a salon held by her friend Castro in 2381, noting that, "There's no right way to dance it." (LD: "Hear All, Trust Nothing")

The name and theme of the dance are a play on the Kobayashi Maru scenario.
