Tetrasol
For similarly named substance, please see tetra-lubisol.
Tetrasol was a veterinary drug consisting of a blue fluid that could be administered by hypospray. This drug was among those found in Sickbay aboard Enterprise NX-01 during the 2150s.
When Captain Jonathan Archer's Beagle Porthos went into anaphylactic shock in 2152, and his body began rejecting Doctor Phlox's treatment, Phlox asked Archer to fill a hypo with 5 ccs of tetrasol. Though apparently dying prior to the injection, following the injection, his death was less likely. (ENT: "A Night In Sickbay")
Tetrasol (CCl4) is a real drug, specifically an antibiotic, used primarily on various types of farm animals.
