Tau Velor was a township on the planet Ventax II. It was mentioned in the script of the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "Devil's Due", but not used in the episode.

In the script, a dispute over a contract between a Klingon craftsman and a Ventaxian homeowner was registered in Tau Velor.
