Tarsas III
Tarsas III was the third planet of its star system in Sector 001. Located in the Beta Quadrant, the planet was orbited by a Luna-like moon and Starbase 74, a Federation Spacedock-type starbase. (TNG: "11001001"; TNG: "Conspiracy", okudagram)
In 2364, the USS Enterprise-D docked at the starbase to undergo routine maintenance check and certain upgrades to its computer systems, performed by a team of Bynars. (TNG: "11001001")
Later that year, the location of Starbase 74 was labeled on the map Starbase Ops Status Sol Sector. (TNG: "Conspiracy", okudagram)
The location of Starbase 74
The footage of the USS Enterprise-D on approach to Starbase 74 was stock footage of the original USS Enterprise entering the Spacedock One in orbit of Earth. For "11001001", the Enterprise-D was superimposed over the Enterprise.
The current location of Tarsas III in the Beta Quadrant was based on the star chart seen in the Star Trek: Prodigy episode "Starstruck", which showed that the bulk of Sector 001 was in this quadrant. The Sol system was located at the extreme edge of this sector in the Alpha Quadrant.
