The tachyon solar sail was a form of propulsion using solar sails propelled by tachyons in the 32nd century.

When discussing his options for getting to Sanctuary Four with Michael Burnham, Cleveland Booker mentioned the tachyon solar sail. He dismissed it, saying that it was "slow as shit". (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 1")
