T'Lani

The T'Lani were a humanoid species from the planets T'Lani Prime and T'Lani III in the Alpha Quadrant.

History

The T'Lani fought a war that lasted many centuries with the Kellerun that was finally ended in 2370. The deadly Harvester virus was used during the conflict. (DS9: "Armageddon Game")

Several cargo containers with the symbol of the T'Lani were kept in storage in Deep Space 9's cargo bays. (DS9: "Profit and Loss")

Physiology

T'Lani were generally similar to Humans in appearance, except for pointed ears, similar to those of the Kellerun, but slightly different in shape from those of Vulcans and Romulans. (DS9: "Armageddon Game")

According to the script, the species' name was pronounced as "tuh-LA-nee".
The same script decribed "In looks only, the T'Lani should be to the Kelleruns like the Vulcans are to the Klingons … the T'Lani look like the more peaceful race." [1]
