Swaford
Swaford bottle
Swaford was a brand of single malt scotch whiskey. It was produced in Scotland on Earth, and contained 40% synthehol.
In 2381, William T. Riker and Jean-Luc Picard drank Swaford at 10 Forward Avenue to celebrate the birth of Riker's son Thaddeus. They were interrupted by Deanna Troi, who ordered Riker to return home and to take the bottle with him. (PIC: "Seventeen Seconds")
In 2401, Riker ordered a bottle of Swaford at 10 Forward Avenue, which he shared with Picard as they discussed a distress call from Beverly Crusher. (PIC: "The Next Generation")
According to Terry Matalas, Swaford Whiskey is an homage to his oldest friend. [1]
