Susan M. Bernardo (born 6 April 1970; age 55) is a writer, editor, scholar, and retired professor who is the author of The Self and Community in Star Trek: Voyager.

She is a Professor Emerita of the Department of English of Wagner College with research interests include science fiction, ecocriticism, Victorian fiction, and fairy tales. She retired in 2021 after thirty years teaching at Wagner College. [1] [2]
